Recycled Tube Light – Flourescent Hanging Lighting Fixture

Ylighting is featuring the above fixture for one of the best of 2011.

Design by Castor, 2005 – 2007.

This linear pendant light is a cylinder formed by bundling burnt-out fluorescent tubes together. The cylinder is then lit from within.

Provides diffused ambient illumination. Available in three lengths. The fixture is suspended from independently mounted support cables with a “floating” canopy. The extra cord lengths can be tangled or field cut.

Butterfly writes, I was fortunate to visit French graffiti artist TILT in his studio in Toulouse as he prepared for multiple shows in London at POW, Singapore and Manila, and to follow him across the streets. When not painting graffiti on naked “bubble girls” across the world, the self declared “graffiti fetichist” leverages his fun and colourful bubble letters to represent iconic portraits, shoes and flags.
